This banana cake is flour and butter free and need no oven. For cooking it you will only need 4 affordable ingredients – eggs, milk, bananas and sugar and minimum of efforts. Add more sugar to your taste. We believe you will be impressed with a tender delicious banana cake that you’ll cook time and again.
✅ Ingredients:
• 4 bananas
• 4 eggs
• milk – 13 fl oz /400 ml
• sugar – 3 oz /100 g
✔︎ You will need:
• baking dish Ø21 cm
• immersion blender
• deep pan with a lid
• food foil
• bowl
Preparation:
1. Heat a pan over medium heat and add the sugar, cook the caramel until amber over low heat for 7-8 minutes stirring constantly.
2. Pour the milk into a deep bowl, add the eggs and sliced bananas and beat until smooth with an immersion blender or in a mixer.
3. Place a baking dish into a deep pan and pour the hot caramel into the first spreading evenly on the surface, pour above the banana mixture and cover with a foil.
4. Pour some water into the pan till the middle of baking dish level, bring to a boil, cover the pan with a lid and cook over low heat for 50 minutes.
5. Take the baking dish with the cake out of the pan and cool, place the cake in the dish into a fridge for 2 hours.
6. Flip the banana cake on a plate and serve to the table.
❗️Advices:
1. To your taste add some sugar into a mixture.
2. To check caramel readiness drip a caramel drop onto a cold plate, if it is not spreading over but becoming hard, caramel is ready.
3. If water boils away earlier than cooking time add water at baking dish middle level.
